updates in my life, i am getting married. Sonya asked me June 10th and we are planning a wedding for july next year. Also Sonya took a job in saskatoon, So we bought a house and are moving back to the city. Life is good. |

Sometimes i think about my past life, things that happend in grade school. playing in the street. camping trips with family. All the old friends. i wonder where they are and who they became. are they doctors and lawers, street people and drug addicts, i wonder what my best friend from when i was three is today. Are my ex's happy with there lives? Is there anyone out there that thinks of me as much as i wonder about them. I wonder when i see a old friend... are they thinking.. damn she looks good.. or damn lacey sure is looking rought now... who have i become.. am i something to be proud of.. or ashamed that this is it... i feel proud but should i? 22 in love, traveled, have good friends, have a good job.. proud is what i am going to stay.. |

so i have not writen on here for a long time, i been in ireland for the last 4 month. spent most of my time in the lovly city of Galway on the west coast. It was a really fun time. met some pretty awesome people and drank acouple pints lol. Then me and sonya packed our bags and went to belfast spent some time there before we caught a plane to scotland. Edinburgh is one of the coolest citys. alot of history and alot of fun people. after our time in Edinburgh we went to Austria for a week to vist my Aunty. It was such a blast, skiing in the apls, going for long walks, and going to some of the coolest bars i have ever been to with my cousins. We where sad to leave Brand Austria because it was such a fun time, But we got on the plane and headed to London. London is a crazy ccity it doesnt matter what time of the day it is there are always people in the streets. it was very fun and exciting being in a huge city from a sask girl. And ealry on march 17th we caught a plan to Dublin, arrived at about 7am and there where people already in the streets getting there party on. i have never seen that much green, the parade was insane. that night there where tons of people singing and dancing in the streets, every pub was so packed that you could barly lift your pint glass to your mouth.
Now i am in Dublin still, about to go to killkenny and see more of Ireland, while we where in Galway we traveled alot, seeing the aran Islands and Dingle, the bog lands, kissed the blarney stone, all over. some of my fav moments were the little pubs that everyone in them were speaking gaelic, and the lady behind the bar was 90 years old.. and could tell a damn good story, you might hear it 3 times because her memorie isnt the best but it was a great story non the less.
So 8 more days till i head back to canada and say good bye to Ireland, i am alittle sad and alittle happy to see my friends and family.. but i am really happy not to sleep another night in a hostel.

So we finished harvest.. thank god.. it was really tiering. Sonya's grandmother had a stroke and had to be put into a home, her Best friends mother has breast cancer and their grain dryer burnt down so it was a really stress full time for her. But it's looking a lot brighter. her grandmother is doing well and we are moving into her old place her best friends mother cancer did not spread and the grain dryer is covered by insurance.
We also are getting all our stuff together to go to Ireland. Tickets are bought, passports in had and now just waiting for our work visa's to come back. It's getting pretty exciting. i have never been over sea's before so i am getting pretty pumped.. |

This weekend was awesome, friday had a wedding it was awesome.. Open Bar and really really awesome people to party with.. so it was awesome, sat had people over for a bbq, sun went golfing went to the lake and then saw the fire works, sunday went water skiing and swimming.

The last week+ four days:
So last Thursday I moved out to Ridgedale officially, drove Sonya’s sister’s car up here with her cousin. Her sister is working in Alberta this summer and needed her car moved out here to be parked for the summer. So it worked out well.. Packed up my stuff in her car and hit the road soon after my last final, which went well. Thursday night we went out for wings and beer. And I believe I got food poisoning because most of Friday I was vomiting. Saturday I felt way better, we went into town early that morning and picked up a bunch of wood and nail’s and so on to build a deck. Nick came over later in the after noon and we built the deck.. And didn’t even take that long. It’s a nice little deck on the back side of our house so we can put our BBQ and so on. That night we had a couple people over for a bbq and for some beer’s. Nick, Eva, Kendra, Carlyng and Matt came over. it was a lot of fun. Sunday we just cleaned up the house and went for a really nice walk. Monday was my first day of work, we loaded hemp and pea’s all day. they are sending them to a bird seed factory in Ontario, so we put them in to big bag’s that weighted about 2500 pounds each. Tuesday and the rest of the week we worked on a air drill (seeder) and fixed it up. Thursday night me and Sonya where sitting in our living room and two deer came into our yard and started to play around.. it was so neat… bouncing back and forth just playing with each other.. it was a really pretty thing to watch. Friday my dad came here and because the field where still really wet, I had the weekend off at the last moment.. so I went back to the cabin with him, it was a lot of fun just hanging out with my dad.
Sunday my dad dropped me off at home around 4pm. Sonya was in town watching her little cousins dance thing. but had made chili in the crock pot before she left so the house smelt so wonderful. After Sonya got home and we ate. we put on our gardening gloves and put in out garden. It was really cool and a lot of fun. I really cant wait till our corn and tomatoes start to grow.
Today was really fun. I got to drive a TRACTOR!! it was a hoot. I was harrowing. They just got a brand new tractor and they put me in first thing.. The little white city girl.. lol. I think I got the hang of it quite quick. I was farming along.. Listening to country music.. it was a blast lol after I finished that field I went with glen and checked out some field’s so see if they where dry enough to start farming and how many run off’s we needed to fix. Then I started to run the gas truck and fill up the seeder’s that where running low on fuel, work was done around 9pm today. and tomorrow we are starting at 7am… this job is so much fun. and I am really loving it out here.

I haven't wrote on here for a really long time. and i have a ton to write about. So i moved to Ridgedale and moved in with Sonya, So far it has been really amazing. waking up with her every morning and just doing "farm" things during the day has been a lot of fun. I also really really love her parents. These are the 1st parents of someone i have dated that i could be left alone with them and i wouldn't freak out.. and would have fun hanging out with them.
So in Bigger new's my mom got MARRIED!! it was such an awesome service. my mom and Terri looked so happy. and i am very happy for them both.. while getting my picture i realized.. now i have two more brother's.. just like that. with a piece of paper signed now i have two more brother's. lol... but these brother's have cool skill's. lol
Nicole took the picture's for the wedding and damn she is awesome. she got some really lovely shot's and i am so happy she did that for me and my mom! THANK YOU!!!
After the lovely wedding Sonya Nicole Dan and I all went over to Albert's and Tash's for a 420/Tash birthday Party. they had a 6 foot screen hooked up to geetar hero. wow that was a bast.. they also rolled 100$ joint.. that was also a lot of fun lol and me and sonya ended up just passing out at there house.. then went shopping the next day with Steph and Sonya's cousin.
We went for lunch then soon after shopping with them we split up.. cuz two homo's shopping with two pretty blond girls doesn't really work. so me and Sonya went to find some new kicks for Sonya.. they are pretty awesome shoes. but her in sneaker's and no cowboy boot's is a little weird. but she got some so i can teach her how to skate board.
After shopping Sonya took me out for supper. We went to Mr.Rizo's oh god was it ever good! we walked up to the building and thought it was going to be a dive cuz it was in a motel. lol.. but when we got in.. it was very lovely in side everyone was dressed up and the food smelt so awesome... so we sat down ordered a bottle of wine and just had a lovely time.. Sonya got a steak and it was so awesome. it was like butter in your mouth. and i had chicken stuffed with crab shrimp and lobster and cheese. oh god it was so so good.
Then after the lovely dinner we went to niki's hotel room and got another bottle of wine and finished that off. then Niki,Carlny, Corrin, Steph, Sonya and my self all went to lydia's. where robin and lessa Met us there. god it was awesome had alot of shot's and acouple beer's then went to the hose were i danced with some guy with a big Stash. he looked like he could two step so i asked him.. and we danced up a storm lol. by the end of the night (or me and sonya's end of the night) we could barly walk.. so we caught a cab and went home lol.
then Sunday Sonya took care of me and brought me ice cream and so on. lol then we packed more of my stuff into her car. and she went back to the ridge. i am here this week because i have some finals'. then i am gong back on either Friday or thusday. after she left i went over to Dan's and Nicole's and played geetar hero. what a fun game.. oh and we made coco rice crispy squares and they where oh oh so good. |

i am all packed, and just about to load up the car. I freaked out last night.. went for drinks with Nicole Keynan and Steph. and i started to freak out.. i love this city.. i love my friends.. i love seeing them all the time.. when ever i want...i love pavement.
i am sure i will love it there, i have been really excited to move. it was just last night that i freaked out... i will be fine...

This weekend i went to ridgedale, sadly there was a death in Sonya's family so i went out there for the funeral and to be with her. Saturday was mostly just hanging out with her family and attending the funeral.
Sunday we woke up some what early and went out to my cabin. luckily we borrowed her dad's truck because some of the roads where drifted and the four wheel drive made it a lot easier getting out there. once we got to my farm, we hopped on my ski-doo and headed back to my cabin. It was nice to spend the day out there, we sled down the hill on our bums, then smoked the cigar my mom got me from her trip. then had some target practice... and i beat sonya.. so now she owes me a steak dinner... oh yes.. the city slicker beat the farm kid... booya! lol
Then we hung out and did some more activity's there.. then came back to Sonya"s around 6pm or so.. just in time to make some dinner and hang out before hitting the hay.
Monday while Sonya was at work, i drove in to Tisdale and visited my grandparents for awhile and picked up some grocery's for Sonya.
Then in the after noon i hung out with Sonya's mom (Shelly). we watched designer shows all after noon and commented on how.. ugly or cool the design where.. it was a lot of fun. This is the first person i have ever dated that i have really liked there mother, i mean tam's mom was awesome.. but she lived so far away.. i barely even got to see her.. and didn't really hang out with her mom. lol
But i really like Sonya's family, and it makes it so much easier to date someone that you enjoy there family also.
Then Tuesday i went and helped Sonya do some work, it was fun working beside her. i think this summer will be a blast.. i am so excited to move in with her. and start working and making good money.. booya. |

i am in love, and most of you know this. but i am in love with a girl that loves me. this is one of the coolest feeling ever. i have been in relationships that the other person loved me with everything they had, but i just didn't have it to give to them. and i have been in relationships that i loved someone with everything, and they just didn't have it to give to me. But with Sonya it's a two way street. This is what relationship's are all about.. this is why you go threw all the bull shit of giving your heart out to someone who doesn't want it.. because one day you will find someone who loves you just as much as you love them, that treat's you with the equal respect as you treat them, that picks you up when you fall and you do the same for them, not because you feel obligated to do so just because there your partner, but because you love them so much you never want them to shed a tear because of pain, only out of joy.
So enough of this lame stuff...

These last two week's have been pretty much amazing, Sonya was in town taking her Class 1A course here so she stayed at my place with me. and having her around all the time was a blast. i did have alittle commiment attack like the second day she was here.. but after that it was smooth sailing. She really is one of my best friends, and just sitting around watching tv with her is a blast.. i dont have to worry that i am being to much of a dork.. or talk to much about poo.. cuz anything i do.. she prob is thinking the same thing.. and either said's it before me.. or right after i say it.. yell's oh my god.. i was thinking the same thing..in a dorky voice of course lol..damn i miss. her already.. and it's only been about an hour since we said our good bye's..
ok enough about.. sonya.. and so forth saying how much i love her.. let's talk about my weekend.. thursday night sonya ask's if i want to go with her to get her hair cut.. i say ok, then she tell's me.. her hair dresser is in PA!!! ya... how silly is that.. we are in saskatoon.. but we drive all the way to PA to get her hair cut.. lol.. oh well it was a really fun trip. came back so i could work at 5pm.. i got sick at work.. got sonya to come pick me up, then we went to her sister's... started to drink...i had gingerale with my rye.cuz .. you know i was sick lol...then we went over to there friends tim's place then to the "come on ya wanna lay ya" dance thing.. it was a blast, wore a life jacket.. and sonya had a big straw hat and a blow up banjo.. it was way to funny.. then saturday.. i was sick all day.. missed work.. sonya made me soup.. and i napped while she played with my hair.. then later that night went over to robin's for her and lorri's b-days. it was fun to hang out with everyone again.. havent seen them for a long time. then after that.. we where planning on going out to the bar.. but ended up not going at the last second.. and jsut came home.. hopefully everyone had a blast there.
this morning.. we drove to wakaw cuz sonya and steph got tattoo's there.. they are really nice. two "S" one dark and one shadow.. sonya got her's on her neck and steph got her's on ther foot.. now i want my bro's to go out and get matching tat's...
now.. i am back.. waiting to go to my mom's for supper... and my bed room look's empty...this sucks...
maybe i will go out with my friends to forget my girl friend lives 2 hours away.. and wont be waiting in my bed when i come home.. damn...oh well.. she will prob be here next weekend.. i shouldnt bitch to much... |

this weekend was a blast, like most my weekends' as of late. Friday i worked till 10pm then then sonya came and picked me up from work. Then went to myhockey game..we won in over time which was awesome, after the game we went to amigo's where lennys band was playing.. they where really awesome.. i danced abit before sonya had to leave because she got alittle sick. lol i drove her home and put her to bed, the next morning i worked at 7am, worked the 8 hours came home and slowly started to get ready for the night, we went to the men's bball game with sonya's parents it was alot of fun we had a couple beer's there and talked with her rent's for awhile.. after the game we went to niki's where we drank some more and played some drinking games... then headed over to lydia's there was a pretty awesome band playing... had acoulp drinks there then went over to the hose where i was picked up by a boy... it was funny.. silly boy's i am a homo lol... after dancing alot there we took a cab over to the longbranch. where alot of my friend were.. it was awesome danced with emily and t-bags.. and made a fool out of my self.. which is always fun.. then took a cab home where i tried to play the geetarr for sonya.. btu was way to drunk to even put my fingers on the right cordslol..sunday i worked at 10.. threw up at work...it was a fun day.. after work went to my mom's for family supper.. came home watched the l word, Monday i was suppost to work.. but i called in sick..hung out with sonya all day then went to the yard for a burger and a beer with nicole and dan (well ran into them there..then ended up sitting downt with them lol)then to the mendel.. it was a super fun weekend.. with a girl i love...
ps.. sonya is staying here for 2 weeks starting next week to take a class here... i really really cant wait..

So.. Valentines day.. the holiday for the greeting card and chocolate factory's.. I guess everyone need's to make money, but making a business out of love... lame... but i guess there are even more business now just focus around that fact, dating services.. Where you can find your soul mate, dating coaches so you can be taught how to date and find that perfect person.. or really trick that person into believing that's who you really are...i just find it all quite lame, i heard a guy say today at work that this gift meant a lot cuz it was going to make or break his relationship... dude.. if a gift will make or break your relationship.. your relationship is fucked up..
i thought this valentines day i wasn’t going to be so bitter, cuz i am in a relationship. but it just piss's me off even more. i don’t need a day so i can show my love. i try to show it ever damn day.. i send Sonya cards in the mail on any damn day to show her i love her. i buy her thing's just to show that i care and that i am thinking about her.. i don’t need a day to do all this.. So i protested and didn’t buy a thing. but instead.. Woke her up at 7am before i went to work.. And read a really bad poem i wrote lol
Another reason I love Sonya: When i got home from work today, in the mail box two envelopes there waiting for me in the mail box. With direction's on the front which one to open 1st.. i opened the 1st envelope, where there was heart shaped mail box. The kind you would of made in the 4th grade to put on your desk at school, then in the second mail box was a bunch of hand made valentines from Sonya... it was so freaking cute.. awhile back i mention how i wanted a heart mail box and valentines... it was so damn cute... cant wait to see her this weekend that's for sure.
On another note, It's my two year anniversary of coming out. Cant believe I been out for two year's.. kind of seems like alot more time has past, the gay community sure is...let's say exciting at times and it seems like i have seen a life time of drama...well here’s to another great out year lol |

This weekend was Such a Blast! I had a hockey tourney in northbattleford. we had a game Friday night at 7. Kicked ass.. won 7-1 then we hit the bar, we got a bunch of free drinks because we where a hockey team.. and hot lol...danced up a storm and did alot of stupid shit, and i have realized that i think drummer's are sexy.. the drummer of the band that was playing i wanted to have sexual intercourse with.. he was dreamy lol.. but only if he got boob's and lost the penis.. cuz i am sure after he left his drum kit i wouldn’t find him so hot anymore. lol Then after the last set, we talked the band into letting Emily borrow there guitar and sing a song.. it was awesome.. she is so freaking good!
then we headed back to the hotel, and partied there with a bunch of people for a couple hours... it was such a blast.
The next morning was a little rough, we didnt play till 4pm. but i think everyone on my team was still hung over and as so.. we didn’t play to well. after that game we went back to the hotel and started to drink again lol..by the time we left the hotel i think half of us where already really really drunk... and i was one of those. we got to the dance and i started to dance right off the bat, and i was prob on the dance floor most of the night.
the next morning we had a early game.. which sucks. cuz most of my team including me where still drunk lol..but we kicked ass and took names.. then ended up playing in the final... which we beat the yard’s team, its basically the old diva’s team… with all the same girls… and they don’t seem to like our team.. and told a couple of the other teams that we suck.. oh well .lol.. seeing that my team is in 1st place.. not 2nd last… and seeing that my team beat your ass in the final.. We must suck.. booo haaa haaa
so.. that was my kick ass weekend… oh the awesomeness |

So my life has been really busy, i work at least 6 day's a week. i go to school 3 day's a week and in-between i try to spend some time with Sonya and friends.. i am starting to get tired.. But i look at the end of the road where i am head and i keep on trucking.. i cant wait till we get on that plane and fly away. also my car is a piece of poo, like always but i have a hockey turny to go to and.. i shouldn’t i really cant afforded to go.. but i really want to go . i havent really played that much hockey because of work. i have missed a shit load of games because either i am out of town on the one day off i have visiting Sonya’s family or friends. or i am at work...it blow's.. so i think i am going to spend the money i dont have and go on this turny. also i haven’t spent much time with shawna this winter.. and i should go and party with her.
today also feel's like a day off... i dont work till 5pm.. how crazy is that.. so last night i went out with Nicole and had coffee with her, it was really nice.. but how lame as i am.. i was in bed by 11 and didn’t go out and party like a normal person would of on there one kind of day off.. but oh well.. i needed sleep. it's more important then getting fucked up right now.. yes.. I Know i am lame.
